Demo on Your Own Data (POC)
We do not show you a ready-made demo
We show you a system running on your own data. We set Qera up with the sample data you give us and walk through the working system with your team. The demo is free.
Definition
What is a POC?
A POC (proof of concept) is a trial run that tests, before the purchase decision, whether software works with a company’s own data and processes. In ERP this means a demo on your own data.
In a ready-made demo the sample company’s records were prepared for the software; your own bills of materials, price lists and exceptions never appear on screen.
Ready-made demo
- You are shown sample company data prepared by the software vendor.
- The records were prepared for the software, so every transaction works.
- Your own exceptions, such as returns, partial shipments or price differences, never appear on screen.
Demo on your own data (POC)
- The screen shows your own product codes, customers and orders.
- Your team tries its daily work in a working system.
- Gaps and points that need tailoring are seen before the decision.
Process
How does a demo on your own data work?
It runs in four steps.
- 01
Assessment call
We listen to your needs and review your current processes. The assessment is free.
- 02
We take your sample data
We ask for a sample of your records, such as item cards, customer and supplier accounts, orders and bills of materials.
- 03
We set Qera up with that data
We prepare the system with the sample data you gave us.
- 04
We walk through the working system together
You see your own products, customers and processes on screen and put your questions to our team.

A ready-made demo shows the vendor’s sample company data. In a demo on your own data the system is set up with your item cards, accounts and orders, so you see on your own records whether the software fits your business.
No, sample data is enough. We take samples of records such as item cards, customer and supplier accounts, orders and bills of materials.
No. Both the assessment and the demo are free.
It helps to have the users who do the work every day, someone from finance and the decision maker. The people who do the work know the exceptions best.
